Turning on " highlight legal moves" under options helps you visualize you and your opponent's options and plan ahead. This is a game of balance and careful positioning in both attacking and defending. A piece with more corners = more options, but its shape may also be open to exploitation by an opponent. Try to leave them until mid-late game when 50-70% of the board has been covered because AI can foresee where you're trying to gain entry and simply block any possibility of placing your big pieces by placing a big piece of their own in your way.ģ. Smaller pieces have great flexibility and can be easily placed and are useful for sneaking into opponent territory via untended spaces, gaining access to more of the board and freeing up pieces that were previously unplayable. It is tempting to play long vertical/horizontal straight tiles to block your opponents, but keep in mind that these shapes have only 4 corners so they limit your ability to advance further as well.Ģ. Some challenges that specify " Win" or " Beat" will require you to end the game as the overall winner with highest points among all players, in addition to any other requirements specified. Most challenges are fairly easy, requiring you to just accumulate a total number of points. It is not difficult at all, even on Hard AI difficulty in later Cups. Once you get the hang of it the game will come naturally. If you're new to the game, try out the tutorial to get a grasp on the basics first.
Each Cup has 5 challenges of varying games modes and a minimum requirement to pass the challenge. There are 6 Tournament Cups available and the AI difficulty gets harder progressively as you complete each cup.
